The High Ground of Texas is celebrating 35 years as an organization.  In 1988, SPS (now Xcel Energy) gathered neighboring communities in the Panhandle of Texas to build a collaborative organization that promoted the region.  As the years have gone by, The High Ground of Texas became its own stand along organization and added additional communities to create a great big thriving West Texas, Best Texas, High Ground of Texas Region!  This book is a snapshot in time, highlighting the current members and what makes each community special.  Through the pages you will find all the faces that have created our unique lifestyle and various industry opportunities in the region.
